美籍華裔冰上皇后關穎珊，24日現身於美國華盛頓州舉行的2002年美國滑冰大獎賽，這是她自今年日本長野世界錦標賽失利後，首次參加國際比賽，表現特別受注目。目前她於短曲項目排名第一，暫時領先其他11名各國好手。同樣來自美國的寇克(Jennifer Kirk)排名第二，俄羅斯的沃琪可娃暫列第三。

關穎珊在短曲項目，採用了名歌手彼得蓋布瑞爾的「The Feeling Begins」音樂，成功跳出高難度的三圈路茲+二圈托路普，三圈菲力普，曲目中不時穿插飛燕連接步的招牌動作，獲得5.6至5.8的技術分，以及高達5.8至5.9的藝術表演分。關穎珊在賽後表示，她只練習這個新短曲曲目二個星期時間，能夠零失誤的表演完整，她覺得相當高興。

美國滑冰大獎賽為今年賽季第一個成年組比賽，將一連進行至27日，女子組長曲項目將於台北時間27日進行。(2002/10/25潔絲敏)
