2002年鹽湖城冬奧運聖火完成交接大典

Mitt Romney reflects on the flame retrieval

即將於明年二月四日展開的2002年冬季奧林匹克運動會，昨日在奧運發源地希臘雅典完成聖火交接大典，由鹽湖城冬季奧運籌委會主席羅尼(左者)代表接受。

這次美國鹽湖城主辦冬奧運可說是風波不斷，去年傳出鹽湖城籌委會在申辦冬季奧運會期間，以高額賄賂金收買國際奧委會委員，多位官員吃了官司，接著又發生美國911恐怖事件，冬奧運的安全問題被人質疑，不過這四年一度的體壇盛事，對於許許多多各國運動員而言，可是他們夢寐以求的目標之一，能夠踏上奧運舞台，等於是美夢成真，期望這樣單純追求夢想的熱情，不要被國際間仇恨與人性黑暗給澆熄才好!(2001/12/4潔絲敏)
