One
of the oldest continuously operating ski resorts in the United
States, Snowbasin Ski Area is located within the Wasatch-Cache
National Forest, on US-226 in Huntsville, Utah, about 33 mi
(53km) northeast of downtown Salt Lake City. Spectator access
is only from park & ride lots. With 90 percent of the Ski
Area located on national forest land, the resort owners take
great pride in caring for the environment while providing
first-class facilities for alpine sports.
