靜岡縣位於日本中部，以綠茶、富士山與足球明星為三大特產。這座2001年3月才剛落成的靜岡體育場，距離市區較遠，但離地鐵站步行只有10分鐘路程。可容納五萬多個觀眾的巨型體育場，其中有五千多個座位還設計成可移動的座位，讓球迷更貼近比賽現場。
